THE ASK
Our client’s portfolio encompassed ten websites, all of which needed to be migrated from WordPress to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). This comprehensive migration also involved extensive content authoring.
To further challenge our team, there was a pre-determined time window for completing the migration, offering limited flexibility. Concurrently, the client’s brand teams initiated redesigns for several of the websites, adding to the complexity of the project.
The client also expanded the scope of the project, tasking our team with redesigning the remaining websites. Crucially, all design modifications had to be seamlessly integrated into AEM, with minimal disruption to the established delivery timeline.
WHAT WE DID
Sibú Digital conducted comprehensive audits for each live site and AEM workflow, uncovering structural opportunities and optimization strategies.
Working closely with the client, we implemented improvements to enhance the AEM workflow.
The project and processes were established with a continuous focus on identifying weekly efficiencies that could be implemented as the work progressed.
Upon receiving new designs and direction from the client, a dedicated team was formed to concurrently handle the design and front-end work alongside the ongoing tasks.
THE RESULT
The AEM workflow optimization required additional upfront time, pushing the start of the migration back. However, the optimization proved successful, and the ask was completed on time and with quality that exceeded client expectations.
